Smart Shopping

Shopping is (almost) always fun. Except when you try to find that special item you've been looking for, and you just can't find it!
On all the other occations, shopping is one of the best (not necessarly one of the cheapest or healthiest) way of spendig your time.

Before you go spend your allowance or paycheck (whichever the case), take a look at this bunch of tips. Alth0ugh they are more targeted towards a wardrove makeover, you may follow some of them for a normal shopping day!
  1. Go to your closet, take a close look at what you already have. Do you still wear al these stuff? Try separating those items that never leave your closet these days, if they're not appropiate for another season, but you might wear them non-stop next, keep them. If not, give them away to those in need.
  2. Get rid of what doesn't fit, you don't like, or is too old and in unwearable conditions. This is a very healthy process, and it will leave you with tons of space for your new clothes!
  3. Make a list. Write the basics, what you MUST definitely get, what you should get, what you really want but not need, and what you want but could live without.
  4. Budgetize. Make a budget! How much do you have? How much can you spend? How much do you want to spend?
  5. Go to the Mall! or Highstreet or wherever you shop!
  6. Stick to both, your lists and your budget. Shop for what you need firts, then use the extra money for your little treats!
  7. Try EVERYTHING on. Somethings look great hanging but not so great on you. Others, quite the opposite!
  8. Shop for your height, shape, weight and colours! Buy stuff that suits you.
  9. Organize the whole of your closet when you get home, this way it will be much easier to find what you want when you want it. And you will also avoid wearing the same 3 things over and over.
Good Luck and Have fun SHOPPING!

Season Finales

For anyone who watches either 90210 or Gossip Girl (or, like myself, both), the last episode of both series must have been a shock. What's even more disturbing is that we won't be hearing from them for a very long time, as both new seasons won't premier until this year's fall. (Don't read on if you haven't watched!)

Personally, not knowing weather Chuck Bass will live or die and not knowing what will happen to Naomi is far too much to take. Specially within the same week, and knowing it will be months before we figure out what's going on.

Will Chuck die? I hope not! I would be so disappointed! No true fan can imagine Gossip Girl without this amazingly good looking character, plus, what will happen with Blair? After all, he was attacked while deffending the beautiful diamond ring he'd bought her. And Georgina's pregnant with Dan's baby? I so didn't see that coming!

And in 90210, did Liam kill Jason? or is he just knocked unconsious. Will Naomi be raped by her teacher, the same one who she claimed had harroused just to get out of trouble? Is Dixon really going to Australia, just like that?

I guess we'll have to wait!

Product Review: Clarins's Powder Blush Compact

I recently bought this blush and I must say my review is 100% positive. It feels light on the skin, lasts long enough and doesn't look cakey even after standing in the sun for over 2 hours. It comes in a great variety of shades, so finding one that will suit your complexion shouldn't be hard at all! Another great thing about this amazing product is that it does everything a blush should, adds colour to your cheeks, forehead or whatever you want giving a nice healthy glow, it doesn't make you look tangoed, because the shades are natural pinks, corals and beige-y pinks. The one and only downside is the application brush, it's not good at all! So if you're thinking about buying this product it's important that you have in mind that you will have to carry around your own brush for future applications. Pricewise, it might not be the cheapest out in the marker, but in my opinion, it's worth the money.

Love,

Get-the-Look: Taylor Swift Cat Eyes

Singer Taylor Swift has added a soft cat eye to her sigature make up style. Unlike other types of this style, hers is soft, girly and romantic. Read on to find out how YOU can achieve the whole look.

Conceal trouble areas: I recommend using Bobbi Brown's Creamy Concealer Kit, this duo comes with a creamy concealer that is easy to apply and powder to set it once you've applied it. Use it to correct dark circles as well as any other imperfections.
If you need it, apply your foundation. I recommend Lancôme's Teint Idole Ultra SPF 10Getting the eyes right for this look is (obviously) extemely important, but it's not that hard at all. Start by lining your upper lashline with your favorite liquid or cream eyeliner. Keep the line strong, as this will later become the cat-like wing and you don't want it to blur. I recomend Topshop's Felt Pen Eyeliner in Jet, it's easy to use and very inexpensive.

Carefuly use the felt tip of the liner to create that strong yet subtle wing.

Appli some dark gray or eyeshadow on the corner of the eyes to make them really stand out. The product of your choice will work just fine for this, but I recommend using powder rather than cream as the look is softer and it's less likely for it to smudge.

Now, line your waterline using a pencil eyeliner, I recommend MAC's Eye Kohl, its results are longlasting and clean.

Finally for the maximum effect of cat-likeness apply your favorite mascara, I recommend one that adds length rather than volume for the top lashes as you can brush the lashes out to make your eyes stand out even more. I recommend Wonder Length Mascara by Carins in Wonder Black.

Finish it off with some light brown bronzer (if you're pale) or some coral blush (if you're more tanned) and clear lipgloss.

Good luck! :)

Zero Assoluto - Semplicemente

Italian has always been and always will be my favorite language in the world.

Katy Perry - One Of The Boys (Live)

She might not have the best voice ever, but God she's trying... and she's getting there...
My favorite song by her ever!

Basic Must-Haves: Hats! Hats! HATS!

A fashion trend that I will never get tired off is wearing hats. Not huge, Ascot like, hats, but edgy, bohemian styled hats.
Wether they're panama style, plain fabric or canvas, I absolutely lov'em.
Here are some examples of my favorite types of hats, the ones that (as soon as the sun is out) I'll be wearing for the rest of the season (SS). All available for purchase at hats.com

Try any of these two for a great classic look plus protection from the harmful sunlight. AND they're ultra stylish! Wear them to the beach, the park, or even the countryside.

This is ultimately my favorite type of hat ever. Edgy, bohemian and fun, very fun.

Pixie Lott - 'Use Somebody' ( Kings Of Leon Acoustic Cover)

Great great cover...
Great great voice...

How To Pull Off Red Lipstick

Red Lipstick is hard to pull off, as it can look tacky and cheap if worn the wrong way. Here are some great tips on how to pull it off and wear it with class and style while still looking glamouros and sexy.

1. Condition your lips: Having soft, well conditioned lips is a must when wearing red lipstick. You can achive this using your favorite lip balm. Personally I recommend Eos Organic Lip Balm Smooth Sphere (Summer Fruit), which you can buy online.
e
2. Line your lips: Use your favorite red lip liner to outline your lips carefully. Once you've done that fill in the rest of your lips to achieve flawless colour. I recommend MAC's Creamstick liner, its creamy texture is softer and will last longer. You can find it in all MAC shops, major department stores and online. Remember to use a shade close to your lipstick's.

3. Colour in your lips: Use a lip brush for precise application. For the lipstick I recommend Clinique's High Impact Lip Colour SPF15 in Red-Y to Wear or Sider Spice. Go for Cider Berry for a more subtle look. I recommend these because the colour is indeed high impact and they have SPF15, which will protect your lips from the sun.

4. Keep the eyes subtle: Line your waterline using your favorite black or dark brown eyeliner. Apply two or three coats of your favorite mascara. Personally, I recommend black, it's much more effective and elegant. For the liner try Magic Khôl from Givenchy in Black, Givenchy is more expensive than other make up brands, but this liner is definitely the best I have ever worn and is worth the extra money.
As for the mascara, Lancome has a great line. My favorite is Definicils Pro in Deep Black.
5. This is optional, but you might want to use a peachy blush to compliment this look, or a highlighter underneath your brow. This will intensify the eyes whilst keeping them subtle.

Good Luck!
